Depressed Cake Shop: Los Angeles

Last year Depressed Cake Shop Los Angeles popped up twice in Venice, California and raised over $12,000 for NAMI and St. Joseph Center.

This year we are having a birthday party in August to celebrate the fact that over $46,000 has been raised around the world by this concept, all fueled by a passionate grass roots army of bakers and organizers.

We are currently planning our next pop-up.  This experience has been life changing for us and we are passionate about continuing to grow and evolve The Depressed Cake Shop as a small step in helping to further the conversation around mental health.

Want to get involved or looking to interview one of the bakers or organizers? Email Valerie Van Galder.

Here is some press that covered the event:

    1. Hi! We’re a pop-up shop, not a brick and mortar bakery, but please come to the next event or to one happening near you!
