IT’S OKAY is a pop up fundraising event in collaboration with Depressed Cake Shop, a grassroots organization that has raised over $70,000 for mental health charities around the world. We will be selling tasty baked goods and one-of-a-kind art donated by local artists and bakers in order to raise awareness of mental health issues and provide a platform for discussion and community. All proceeds generated by this event will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. There will be live music and video projections inspired by those who struggle with mental illness, as well as information about mental health issues provided by NAMI. One in four people will suffer from mental health issues at some point in their lives. Everyone is affected by them.
Join us for an afternoon of live music, local art, and sweet treats as we work towards ending the stigma surrounding mental illness.

STILL ACCEPTING DONATIONS:
Contact milkymaze if you are interested! It can really be anything you want (prints, video, zines, music, crafts, etc.), but we encourage artists to donate things that they associate with mental illness from their own experiences or their understanding of it/experiences with friends & family that struggle with it.
