Comedy & Storytelling on World Bipolar Day!

Love Lady Dynamite? Binging BoJack Horseman? Then you know that the comedy world is throwing down some of the most realistic, multi-dimensional portrayals of mental illness in pop culture right now. Laughter is incredibly healing, and finding the funny can be a way out of the darkness.

On World Bipolar Day (www.worldbipolarday.org), local comedians, humorists, and storytellers share their personal experiences navigating bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety with humor and heart.

Organized by the International Society for Bipolar Disorders (ISBD), HumoRx’s ticket sales will benefit the Arcade Comedy Theater and the ISBD’s Conference Scholarship Fund, which helps people living with bipolar disorder and their families attend the ISBD’s annual educational conference.

This show will feature some adult content and sensitive subject matter.
